First comes the 4Cs system and its implications on the price and as soon as one figures out what is all about, there comes the certificate origin, proportions, fluorescence and many more, each one claiming different degree of importance. Finding the perfect diamond depends on one’s ability to balance the different segments forming a diamond’s quality, known as the 4C’s and approach them by the order of importance. In this way it is possible to acquire stunning looking diamond for far less than one could expect to pay for. Information about diamond classification (the 4 C’s) is available widely on the web, but it has a common shortcoming. The information is rather technical than practical and preaches the same old things, driven by heavy marketing influence. There is in fact, lack of information based on value for money factor or appearance merit. In this article I will scrutinize the 4C’s form a different angle based on the values above and try to give you a different perspective on what really matters when choosing a diamond. The 4 C’s mentioned above stand for: Carat, Color, Clarity and Cut
